[Department Website][APSA elisting(requires membership)] LEHIGH UNIVERSITY International Relations/Political Geography/Political Sociology/Demography The Department of International Relations invites applications for a tenure track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor, starting with the Fall 2006 semester. We are looking for a scholar with expertise in political geography, political sociology or demography and a strong interest in international relations. The geographical area of specialization and approach are open. The successful candidate must demonstrate commitment to excellence in research and in teaching. The successful candidate’s formal training might be in any one or more of these fields. The appointee will teach two courses per semester. Salary and benefits are competitive, and research support for junior faculty is excellent. Application materials should include a cover letter detailing current research interests, curriculum vitae, a writing sample of chapter or article length, letters of recommendation, teaching evaluations if available, and (for candidates with less than 3 years’ experience beyond the Ph.D.) a graduate transcript.
