The Department of Political Science invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level starting in Autumn 2006. We seek to hire someone who specializes in the international relations of China or contemporary Chinese politics. Teaching assignments will include: introductory political science courses in international relations and/or comparative politics; mid- and upper-level undergraduate courses in the candidate’s area of specialization; contributions to the university’s general education program; and a mid-level course in the interdisciplinary Honors Program. The search committee is eager to review applications of individuals with demonstrated excellence in teaching. DePaul University is committed to recruiting a diverse faculty to complement the diversity of its student body and the Chicago area communities. The Ph.D. is required by date of appointment.
