[Department Website][APSA elisting(requires membership)] George Fox University invites applications for a tenure track position in political science to begin August 2006. The successful candidate will teach courses in two subfields of political science other than political theory, constitutional law, and public administration. In addition, he or she will supervise internships, advise students, and carry out other faculty responsibilities. Candidates must possess an earned Ph.D. in political science or be close to receiving one. Previous teaching experience and scholarship are desirable but not required. Candidates must have a Christian commitment compatible with the mission of George Fox as outlined in the university’s statement of faith. Appointment level is open depending upon qualifications and experience. Salary and benefits are competitive with comparable institutions.
