Georgia State University
[Department Website][APSA elisting(requires membership)]
Georgia State University: The Department of Political Science invites applications for a tenure track position at the assistant professor level in international politics beginning August 2006. The successful candidate must have a promising research agenda, ability to attract grants, skills to provide effective graduate and undergraduate teaching, and a Ph.D. in hand by August 2006. While the department seeks a scholar broadly trained in the theories of international relations and will review applications from all specializations, it has a preference for U.S. foreign policy, national security, and/or international political economy. The department has large, successful undergraduate and graduate programs. Georgia State University is one of the three research universities of the University System of Georgia, is an equal opportunity institution, and is an EEO/AA employer. Review of applications will begin October 7 and will continue until the position is filled. Please send vitae, at least three letters of recommendation, examples of scholarly work, teaching materials, statement of research agenda, and graduate transcript to Jean Byrd, International Politics Search, Department of Political Science, P.O. Box 4069, Atlanta, GA 30302-4069.
