[Department Website][APSA elisting(requires membership)] The Department of Political Science at Rowan University invites applications for a tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level in Comparative Politics and International Relations beginning in the Fall Semester of 2006. We seek an applicant who can demonstrate effective undergraduate teaching and an active research agenda. Specializations within I.R./Comparative are open but we prefer someone who can teach a course in U.S. Foreign Policy. Additional consideration will be given to candidates who can teach undergraduate courses in Introduction to Government and Politics and/or American Politics as part of the university’s general education offerings. Faculty in the Department of Political Science are expected to pursue publishable research and to take part in the affairs of the department and the university by serving on committees and advising students. Ph.D. required. Rowan University (formerly Glassboro State College) is a selective, medium-sized, state university located in southern New Jersey between Atlantic City and Philadelphia.
