The Department of Political Science and International Relations at SUNY Geneseo invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Political Science to start Fall 2006. Responsibilities include teaching courses on Asian Politics. We are especially interested in candidates who can teach courses that contribute to both the International Relations and Comparative Politics fields of our program. Qualifications include a Ph.D. in Political Science or International Relations by August 2006, evidence of teaching effectiveness, demonstrated potential for scholarly contributions, and professional participation. We prefer teaching experience at the four year college and/or University level and demonstration of scholarly activity.
