[Department Website][APSA elisting(requires membership)]The Department of Political Science at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, is seeking candidates for a tenure track position as assistant professor in International Relations beginning August 1, 2006. Successful candidates for this position should have a substantive focus in conflict resolution and national/international security issues and must possess strong quantitative and/or formal methodological skills. Applicants also should have teaching competence in a wide range of IR classes at both graduate and undergraduate levels. Other requirements include a demonstrated potential for scholarly achievement and completion of the Ph.D. in political science or strong proof of Ph.D. degree completion prior to the appointment date.
