Vanderbilt University International Politics (Conflict Processes or International Political Economy) Assistant Professor The Department of Political Science at Vanderbilt University invites applications for two tenure-track appointments in International Relations with a focus on conflict processes or international political economy. These appointments begin in fall, 2006 and will be at the Assistant Professor level. One position will focus on a candidate with Quantitative methods skills and the other will focus on a candidate with Formal theory skills. The department anticipates reaching a critical mass (4) for our International Relations field. Vanderbilt is an AA/EO employer. Its Department of Political Science particularly encourages applications from minorities and women. To assure full consideration, applications should be received by October 15, 2005, but will be accepted until both positions are filled. All applicants must have attained their Ph.D. by August 2006 and should send a letter of application and a complete curriculum vitae. In addition to these items, applicants should also send a writing sample, three letters of recommendation, and information on teaching experience and performance, with teaching evaluations, if available.
