Sweet Briar College

[Department Website][APSA elisting(requires membership)] Sweet Briar College invites applications for the tenure-track Assistant Professor position in International Affairs, to begin in August 2006. As a key contributor to a dynamic and evolving interdisciplinary program, the successful candidate will have International Relations as their primary field of study and possess a solid foundation in IR theory and methods. Though specialization within the field is open, preference will be given to candidates with expertise or experience in a region of the world other than Asia. Candidates with a Ph.D. are preferred, although ABD will be considered. Teaching load is three courses per semester and includes the introductory international relations course and courses to expand offerings within the major and support the College?s General Education program.
