[Department Website][APSA elisting(requires membership)] UNIVERSITY OF RHODE ISLAND ASSISTANT PROFESSOR POLITICAL SCIENCE This is a tenure-track, academic year position with appointment anticipated September of 2006. UNION: AAUP Acad BASIC FUNCTION: Teach courses in some of the following areas: International Relations Theory, American Foreign Policy, and Comparative Politics; teach the large Introduction to International Relations course, as well as in our Masters program in Political Science. QUALIFICATIONS: REQUIRED: Ph.D. in Political Science or evidence of completion of degree requirements by appointment September 2006; specialization in International Relations; evidence of effective college-level teaching and of high quality scholarly ability; demonstrated ability to teach large Introduction to International Relations course. Ability to teach American Foreign Policy and Comparative Politics preferred.
