Colgate University seeks applications and nominations for a senior political scientist with an international reputation and distinguished record of research and teaching to fill the Harvey Picker Chair in International Relations. The appointment is to begin in the autumn of 2006. Area of specialization in IR is open. The Picker Chair is expected to contribute to the undergraduate International Relations program, Colgate’s interdisciplinary core curriculum and other appropriate university-wide programs. The Picker Chair includes a very competitive salary, a travel and research budget, a reduced teaching load of four courses per year, as well as the opportunity to take the overseas study group based in Geneva, Switzerland.
