The Division of International Studies at the Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas (CIDE) invites applications for a tenure-track, junior-level position in International Relations to begin September, 2006. CIDE is an elite, public research and teaching institution specializing in the social sciences and public policy. The position is open with respect to sub-field and regional specialization within IR. Specialists in foreign policy or public opinion within American Politics are also encouraged to apply. Applicants should have a demonstrated potential for high-level research and publication. Spanish fluency is not required for appointment, but candidates should be prepared to learn quickly. Salaries are internationally competitive. Applicants should submit cover letter, CV, writing sample, three letters of recommendation, statement of research agenda, and teaching evaluations. Application materials should be sent by courier.
