[Department Website][APSA elisting(requires membership)] The Department of History and Political Science at Utah Valley State College in Orem, UT invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in international relations and comparative politics to begin August 2006. The successful candidate will: 1) teach upper and lower division courses in international relations and comparative politics, and 2) contribute to the continuing development of the Political Science curriculum and program, including the development and teaching of courses on international conflict and organization. Geographic area of specialization is open. Ph.D. is required by the time of employment. Candidates should submit: a letter of application, curriculum vitae, a personal statement of teaching philosophy, graduate transcript, samples of scholarship, and three letters of recommendation to Dr. Jay DeSart, Political Science Search Committee Chair, Department of History and Political Science, MS 185, Utah Valley State, 800 W.
