Central European University

[APSA elisting(requires membership)] The Department of International Relations and European Studies at Central European University in Budapest invites applications for a full-time position in European studies at the rank of assistant professor. We are seeking qualified candidates in the field of European studies, broadly defined. The successful candidate should have a demonstrated potential for high-level research and publication and is expected to teach theoretical approaches to the European Union at the graduate level. The candidate should have a Ph.D. in international relations or political science by August 2006. Teaching responsibilities include three courses per year, plus supervision of MA theses and PhD dissertations. The initial contract is for four years, with indefinite long-term renewals possible.
