The Department of Public Administration at the Maxwell Schol of Syracuse University is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow for 2006-07 with a specialty in public policy and administration in the developing world. Advanced ABDs will also be considered. In addition to conducting his or her own research, the Postdoctoral Fellow would teach one course per semester on this subject to students in the professional Master of Public Administration (MPA) program, the Executive Master of Public Administration program (EMPA) and the Master of Arts in International Relations program. He or she also would assist with the activities of the Development and Social Transformation Forum, a group housed in the Maxwell School`s Moynihan Institute of Global Affairs that organizes lectures, seminars and publications concerning third world development. Recent PhDs or advanced ABDs from political science, public policy, public administration, anthropology, geography or sociology programs are encouraged to apply.
