Three Fixed-term Post-doctoral Fellowships in Comparative Government, International Relations and Political Theory Research Grade 1A salary scale: £20,044 - £30,002 p.a. The Department of Politics and International Relations, University of Oxford proposes to appoint three Post-doctoral Fellows in the fields of Comparative Government (ref: CT06003), International Relations (ref: CT06004) and Political Theory (ref: CT06005) for four years from 1st September 2006. These three new positions will offer the best candidates excellent career opportunities to work in an internationally renowned department that benefits from excellent facilities for research and teaching and the presence of leading international academics in all three fields. The posts will be associated with non-stipendiary college positions. Applicants for these posts should have a completed doctorate, or evidence of imminent completion, in a substantive area of their chosen field, strong research skills and a publication record that is, or will be, sufficient for inclusion in the Department’s RAE (Research Assessment Exercise) submission in 2008. They should also be able to demonstrate excellent organizational, communication and inter-personal skills.
