Comparative Politics/International Relations: The Politics Department at Whitman College invites applications for a one-year visiting assistant professor position beginning August 2006. Competitive candidates should have a geographical focus on one or more of the following regions: Europe, the Middle East, and/or East Asia. We are particularly interested in finding candidates whose substantive areas of interest include social movements, regional integration, the politics of religion and/or race, or global migration. Ph.D. or ABD and teaching experience is desirable.
