The Department of Political Science invites applications for an Assistant Professor with specialization in International Relations and Comparative Politics, with a regional studies background in one of the following: North Africa-Southwest Asia, South Asia, China, Japan, or Africa (country and regions open). Teaching assignments will include politics of developing nations, international organizations, courses related to the applicant’s regional specialization, and U.S. government and foreign policy. We are seeking a dynamic scholar who combines an active research agenda with excellent teaching and an understanding of first-generation college students. The position is a full-time, tenure-track appointment commencing Fall 2006. All candidates must have completed their Ph.D. by the time of appointment.
