The Political Science Department at the State University of New York at Cortland invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position with duties to begin Fall 2006. A Ph.D. by the time of the appointment is required. The department seeks a person able to teach in these categories: i) comparative politics (with a regional specialization in Latin America or Asia), and ii) international relations. Responsibilities include teaching introductory and upper division courses in the undergraduate curriculum. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching and research, with a willingness to collaborate with other colleagues on campus in a variety of international initiatives (e.g. study abroad, internships).
