University of Notre Dame
[Department Website][APSA elisting(requires membership)]
The Department of Political Science at the University of Notre Dame invites applications and nominations for two positions in International Relations. The positions are open with respect to subfields and methodology. The rank is also open although we anticipate that at least one of the two will be for an Associate or Full professor position. The ideal candidate for a senior position will have high visibility in the field, a significant research record, and an intellectual agenda and teaching commitment that will thrive in and make major contributions to a department which supports faculty research, graduate student mentoring, and teaching excellence. Candidates for Assistant professor must show promise of excellence in research and teaching. Notre Dame is an AA/EO employer. We particularly seek applications from minorities, women, and those who are attracted to a university with a Catholic identity. Completed applications, including a CV, writing sample(s), three letters of recommendation, and teaching evaluations, should be received by October 1, 2005, to assure full consideration. Please send applications, to: Chair, International Relations Search Committee, University of Notre Dame, Department of Political Science, 217 O?Shaughnessy, Notre Dame, IN 46556.
