[Department Website][APSA elisting(requires membership)] Comparative Politics/International Relations: Area Specialization-Asia Utah State University The Department of Political Science invites applications for a full-time, tenure track position in comparative or international politics with a regional specialization in Asia. Preference will be given to individuals whose research focuses on China. Appropriate language competency is required. Applicants should have completed the PhD by the time of appointment and should demonstrate teaching excellence, strong communications skills, and a commitment to scholarly research. The appointment is to begin fall semester 2006 and will be made at the Assistant Professor level. The successful applicant should be prepared to teach Introduction to Comparative Politics, and courses in Asian Politics, including Chinese Politics, at the undergraduate and graduate (Master’s) levels.
