CALIFORNIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY Division of the Humanities and Social Sciences The faculty at the California Institute of Technology invite applications for a position in political science as an assistant professor. Exceptionally well qualified individuals at the associate or full professor level will also be considered. The term of initial appointment is normally four years, if untenured, and is contingent upon completion of the Ph.D. We are especially interested in applicants doing formal theory or quantitatively oriented work in the areas of American politics, comparative politics, or international relations. We are seeking highly qualified candidates who are committed to a career in research and teaching. Interested candidates should submit a letter of application describing their current research; a vita, three letters of recommendation, and a sample of work.
