[Department Website][APSA elisting(requires membership)] Comparative Politics/Middle East Rhodes College: Assistant Professor The Department of International Studies at Rhodes College invites applications for a tenure track position at the rank of assistant professor to start Fall 2006. The department seeks candidates with a strong commitment to teaching, an active engagement with scholarship, and a dedication to the support of undergraduate students. Ph.D or near completion of degree required. We seek applications from candidates who have expertise in Comparative Politics and a regional specialization in Middle East politics and area studies. The successful candidate will teach Introduction to Comparative Politics and courses in Middle East politics. The teaching load is three courses per semester. Please submit a letter of application, curriculum vitae, three letters of recommendation, evidence of teaching performance, and a sample writing/publication to Dr. Ron Gelleny, Chair, Department of International Studies, Rhodes College, 2000 North Parkway, Memphis, TN 38112. The Department will interview candidates at the American Political Science Association Meeting in Washington, D.C., 1-3 September.
