[Department Website][APSA elisting(requires membership)] ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF POLITICAL SCIENCE KENNESAW STATE UNIVERSITY Kennesaw State University invites applications for a nine-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Political Science in the Department of Political Science and International Affairs beginning August 2006. Qualifications include an earned doctorate in political science with demonstrated effectiveness in teaching and scholarship. Candidates should have expertise in the Middle East as their primary area. Teaching responsibilities will include courses in comparative politics and international relations, as well as the introductory course in American Government. Ability to teach a negotiation course in a planned new Master’s program in International Affairs is highly desirable. Although teaching is the primary focus of all faculty at KSU, service and scholarship activities are also expected. KSU has established a notable record for inclusion of minorities and women in its educational mission and strongly encourages applications from both groups.
