Lewis & Clark College (China)

[Department Website][APSA elisting(requires membership)] The Lewis & Clark College political science department invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship with a focus on contemporary China, beginning fall 2006. Candidates must read and speak Chinese and have done fieldwork in the PRC. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed a Ph.D. in political science by fall 2006. The successful candidate will work closely with the College?s interdisciplinary East Asian Studies program. Usual teaching load is five courses per year, including a required core course for the East Asian Studies major and at least two China-related courses. Faculty are expected to participate in the College’s first-year general education course. Potential for excellent teaching and an active research program are essential.
