[Department Website][APSA elisting(requires membership)] The Department of Political Science of Stern College at Yeshiva University invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor in international relations, beginning Fall 2006. The subfield specialization is open, but training in international organization, international law, human rights, conflict resolution, nationalism, or ethnic conflict is desirable. The department seeks a broadly trained scholar capable of teaching introductory courses plus upper-level courses in the applicant’s area of specialization. Applicants should have a commitment to both undergraduate teaching within a liberal arts environment and maintaining an active research agenda. Teaching experience and Ph.D. at the time of appointment are preferred. The institution strongly supports research and faculty development. Salary is competitive. The screening process will begin October 1, 2005 but applications will continue to be accepted until the position is filled. Stern College, the undergraduate women’s college of Yeshiva University, is located in Midtown Manhattan.
