[Department Website][APSA elisting(requires membership)] The Political Science Department of Long Island University`s Brooklyn Campus is soliciting applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professorship to start in September 2006. The position is in International Relations with Comparative Politics as a secondary field. The candidate should be able to teach the international system, international organizations and NGOs, world diplomacy, international conflict, theory and the MA offerings in IR. As for Comparative Politics, we welcome applications from candidates with any area specialty except Latin America. The department is a flexible one and is always interested in developing new courses and programs. The candidate must have the PhD in hand at the time of appointment. Located in Downtown Brooklyn, the campus is an exceptionally exciting and diverse environment populated largely by the sons and daughters of New York`s working and middle classes.
