International Relations/International Political Economy The Political Science department at Western Washington University invites applications for a full time tenure track position, at the rank of assistant professor, beginning in September 2006. Persons with major areas of specialization in international relations are invited to apply. Teaching assignments will include international political economy. Minimum requirements include: Completion of the Ph.D. by September 2006; ability to teach introductory international relations courses; and evidence of potential for successful teaching and research in international political economy and the major area of specialization. Experience working with a diverse student body and staff is a desired attribute. Interested candidates should submit: a letter of application describing teaching philosophy and research plans, and qualifications for the position; vita; official transcripts; three letters of recommendation; teaching evaluations and/or other evidence of teaching abilities; and evidence of scholarly potential including a writing sample.
