[Department Website][APSA elisting(requires membership)] HUMAN RIGHTS AND SOCIAL MOVEMENTS The Department of Political Science at Indiana University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor for a scholar who studies human rights and social movements, broadly conceived, with a primary focus outside the U.S The position is part of IU?s multi-year commitment to hire 25 scholars in political economy, development, social change, globalization, international/area studies, and diaspora studies. The successful applicant will join a generalist department that aspires to cover major as well as emerging areas of the discipline. Applicants should have or expect to receive the doctoral degree before August 2006. Applications received by November 1 are guaranteed full consideration; the position will remain open until filled.
