The Department of Political Studies at Queen's University [www.queensu.ca/politics] invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level in international relations with expertise in international political economy. Research interests in regional or ethnic conflict will be an asset. Preference will be given to candidates who have a completed Ph.D., show evidence of potential excellence in teaching and research, and who complement the research and teaching strengths of the Department. The University invites applications from all qualified individuals. The academic staff at Queen's University are governed by a Collective Agreement between the Queen's University Faculty Association (QUFA) and the University which is posted at www.queensu.ca/qufa. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, Canadian citizens and Permanent Residents will be given priority. Applicants must submit a current c.v., a teaching dossier, and a sample of written work. Applicants should arrange for three referees to submit letters of reference on their behalf.
