[CPSA elisting] The Department of Political Studies at Trent University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the field of Global Politics, effective July 1, 2006 (subject to budgetary approval). Applications are welcome in any subfield of Global Politics. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in hand or near completion and must demonstrate promise of research achievement. The successful candidate will contribute to the teaching of the department's flagship course in Global Politics at the second year level as well as a range of upper year courses, depending on interests and specialization. Contribution to one of the Department's team-taught courses will be required from time to time. Applicants should send a curriculum vitae, a writing sample, a teaching dossier, (including teaching evaluations, if available) and a statement outlining current and future research interests by December 8, 2005 to the address below.
