The successful applicants will have outstanding research potential, and no more than three years experience since the award of their PhDs. The Department will consider applicants researching in all areas of international relations. Applicants who are close to submitting their doctoral theses, or whose theses are under examination when applications close, will be considered. Examination must be complete, however, before an appointment can commence, and this must occur no later than 1 January 2007. Applicants should submit with their application a 2500 word statement on the research and publication they would undertake while at the ANU.
