Assistant Professor in Political Studies – International Relations. Vacancy Number A690-05. The Department of Political Studies at the University of Auckland, New Zealand is seeking applicants for a permanent academic position at the lecturer level (equivalent to assistant professor in US). We wish to appoint someone whose work is theoretically informed and contributes to the study of a) world politics with a focus on conflict and security issues and/or b) the politics of regional integration, with a focus on Europe. The successful candidates for these positions would be expected to teach in at least two of the following areas: international political economy, global governance, international security, and/or the European Union. A PhD in Political Science is a requirement.
