[Department Website][APSA elisting(requires membership)] The Department of Political Science of Sam Houston State University is conducting a search for three tenure-track Assistant Professors to begin August 2006 (American, Public Administration, & Theory/Comparative/International). Applicants cutting across areas will be considered. For this position, preferred teaching areas include Political Philosophy/Theory (Western or non-Western), Comparative (thematic nonregional specialty preferred), and International Relations. Successful teaching, applied experience, and/or successful grant writing experience useful. The position is to teach introductory, advanced undergraduate, and graduate classes. Doctorate must be completed by the beginning of classes. The department offers BA, BS, MA, and MPA degrees.
