Quick aside: best political-science-related costume idea to date--a few years back, a fellow grad student proposed going to parties as "Jake hat" (name altered to protect the innocent)--going as himself with a ^ symbol on his head, to indicate that he was the "best linear unbiased estimator of Jake," constantly adding: "that sounds almost exactly like something that Jake would say" to every sentence he would utter. Classic, even for a qually like me!

Apparently the first years don't get it.
I found it pretty funny. I mean, what other good polisci costumes are out there? McCain? Clinton? Obama? Nixon? Yawn!!! (!!!)
I really liked the Formal Model costume!
The endog-o-lantern is cute, but getting old. May I suggest an ironic Thanksgiving thread in its place?
