The Division of International Relations at Haifa University in Israel is conducting a search for a tenure track position at the rank of assistant professor. Suitable candidates must hold a Ph.D. degree in International Relations and have a proven record in research. Successful candidates will be expected to teach courses in Hebrew within a few years of their arrival. Applications should include the following items: 1) A letter of intent, stating willingness to begin teaching in the fall of 2006. 2) Curriculum Vitae (including a list of publications and works in progress). 3) Three reference letters. 4) Personal statement outlining research background and plans for coming years. 5) A list of courses the candidate can teach. 6) A copy of the Ph.D. dissertation plus up to 3 recently published articles (or conference papers).
