ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE/FULL PROFESSOR (Chinese Politics/Tenure-track or Tenure) Department of Political Science The LSU Department of Political Science invites applications for a tenure-track or tenured appointment, in comparative politics/international relations with specialization in Chinese Politics to begin Fall 2006. This search is to fill one of eight new positions funded for a university-wide initiative to develop a Chinese Commerce and Culture program. Required Qualifications: Ph.D. required for appointment at the Assistant Professor level; however, ABD’s with strong qualifications are encouraged to apply for initial appointment at the Instructor level. Title and rank will be determined based upon qualifications and credentials. Review of applications will begin November 1, 2005, and will continue until a candidate is selected. An offer of employment is contingent on a satisfactory pre-employment background check. Candidates for Associate or Full Professor should send vitae (including e-mail address) and references to the address below.
