Position: Assistant Professor, Department of International and Comparative Politics Institution: The American University of Paris Location: Paris, France Date posted: December 15, 2005 Application deadline: February 15, 2006 International and Comparative Politics: The American University of Paris seeks to appoint an exceptional young scholar to a tenure-track position in the field of International Relations and Comparative Politics. Candidates should have a PhD in Political Science, a strong background in quantitative and formal methods, and solid historical knowledge and research experience in one of the following countries/regions: the United States, Europe, the Middle East or East Asia. The Department of International and Comparative Politics is particularly interested in creative individuals with a demonstrated ability to combine quantitative and/or formal methods with a broad historical understanding and a comparative and/or international approach to political phenomena. Candidates fluent in French will be especially welcome.
