Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania announces a search (AA#44-5-108) for a position in the Department of Political Science at the Assistant Professorship rank to teach, in particular, Asian Politics (East Asian and South Asian) and related comparative courses as determined by the department Chair from time to time. The successful candidate will also be required to teach introductory courses (American Government or Introduction to Politics); four classes (with a maximum of 3 preparations) per semester. This is a nine-month tenure track position. Finalists for the position must communicate well and successfully complete an interview and teaching demonstration. The successful candidate must demonstrate abilities to work with diverse populations. Qualifications: Ph.D. in Political Science preferred; A.B.D. in Political Science will be considered with contingency contract. Recommendation for hiring will be based on the majority vote of regular full-time faculty in the department.
